Newcastle have made an offer to Barcelona for Ferran Torres, but it is only worth €20m. Mundo Deportivo reported on Wednesday that. Premier League side Newcastle have made a bid worth just €15m plus €5m in bonuses to Barcelona to sign Ferran Torres. But the Blaugrana are keeping quiet about the offer.

Barcelona had to spend a combined €55m to sign Ferran from Manchester City in January 2022 and despite the player’s lack of consistency for the Catalan giants. He has been a positive addition to the Barca attack. Scoring 11 goals and providing four assists in 42 appearances in all competitions last season. UFABET 

Newcastle have reportedly made a bid worth €20m. Including an initial €15m payment, to sign Ferran, with Barcelona accepting the offer. Meaning the club will lose more than half of the amount they paid to bring the 24-year-old forward away from City. 

Ferran, who is contracted until 2027 has previously made it clear he wants to stay at Barcelona. And is hoping to impress new manager Hansi Flick in pre-season this summer.

For a player of Torres’ quality and experience, the Magpies have to cough up more if they are to persuade Barcelona into selling him. For now, both Barcelona and Torres remain uninterested in entertaining Newcastle.
