De Bruyne challenged for the UEFA Player of the Year award. Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne challenged for the UEFA Player of the Year award with Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante and Jorginho. Who led the team to the UEFA Champions League last season.

UEFA has announced the final three players for the 2020/21 Player of the Year award. That with two from Chelsea, the latest champions of the UEFA Champions League, Ngo. Shield Kante and Jorginho, while the other is Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne. 

  Kante has been dominant in a dry season, especially in the Champions League, where he won the man of the match in both semi-finals. including in the final

Jorginho, meanwhile, was another key figure in the Blues, missing just one match. Plus, he continued his strong form by leading the Italian national team to the Euro 2020 championship last summer. 

De Bruyne, one of the contenders from last year, is back on the list once again. from the heart to help “Blue Sailboats” reach the finals. As for domestic performance the team won the Premier League and Carabao Cup. 

The final three players are voted on by 24 coaches who have managed the national team playing at Euro 2020 in the past. As well as 80 of the club’s coaches who have played in the Champions League. Including Europa group stages League last season.

The UEFA Player of the Year award will be announced at the UEFA Champions League group stage draw on August 26.
